Bondi Beach Playgroups operate at three great venues: Wairoa Community Centre (North Bondi), Francis Street/Thomas Hogan Reserve (Bondi) and Kimberley Reserve Community Hall (Vaucluse). Indoor and outdoor play equipment are available. You are welcome to come along to any session as we operate on a casual basis – no bookings are required.

As we are a community playgroup, all attendees must help run the session. This includes setting up activities, helping children to play, making sure craft/painting is contained (ish!) and everything is packed up at the end. We know sometimes you might need to leave early… packing up at least one thing before you go makes the job manageable for everyone. Remember our volunteer has their own children with them, and they want to get time for lunch/naptime too. Occasionally a session leader may close a session earlier if they need to do so – please be respectful of their decision.
See below for the sessions we can run at our venues. All sessions are subject to volunteer availability. We post the following week’s schedule on Facebook every Sunday evening (after we have checked in with our volunteers). Occasionally, sessions may be cancelled at last-minute due to volunteer illness or other unexpected events. We encourage everyone to regularly check our Facebook page prior to attending.
Wairoa Ave – Morning sessions are typically run with a start time of either 9am or 9.30am (depending on when our volunteer can get there!). Afternoon sessions typically start after 2pm.
Francis St / Wairoa Ave – Our bookings are less flexible at these venues. We typically start at the times advise below, occasionally closing earlier if our volunteer needs to do so.

At every session, you need to check-in via the QR code. This helps us with planning sessions and with our grant applications/acquittals.
All attendees must be members of Playgroup NSW. Membership is free, and once you sign up, you will be a member for 5 years. You can join online via www.playgroupnsw.org.au . Playgroup NSW Membership is compulsory as it covers our personal injury and public liability insurance (we can’t lease our venues without it!)
Each session is $4 per family, per session. You can pay via cash (correct change appreciate), bank transfer or by Pay Pal.
